V-TES turned 7 years old today! Instead of a Happy Birthday Message and a picture of a cake, we decided to share a snapshot of our story to date.
V-TES was started by Graeme Harper in 2012 at the kitchen table with a sole contract. Working hard to establish the business as a key player in the supply of electrical engineering, multiple offshore projects were concluded, and subsequently, new clients were won.
Over the course of 2013, 2014 and 2015, V-TES continued to work tirelessly in order to support existing and new clients whilst growing the business. Highly skilled electrical engineers were added to the team on a continual basis, resulting in increased capabilities and service offering from V-TES.
Striving for exceptional quality and the highest standards in everything that we do, V-TES was awarded ISO:9001-2015 Quality System certification in 2015.
The company went on to secure its first renewables contract in 2016. The 33KV wind farm project was carried out at Millennium wind farm with resounding success. This was swiftly followed by appointment as an IRATA Member in 2017 and the completion of rope access projects.
Coinciding with the global development strategy, V-TES caught the attention of Valor Energy Group in 2018. Discussions lead to the purchase of a controlling interest at the tail end of the year. 2019 has seen a surge of projects and request for support, which is testament to the high standard of services offered over the years.
To date, we have delivered electrical engineering solutions both onshore and offshore in locations worldwide including the North Sea, Singapore, Columbia, Dubai, Tanzania, Gabon, Yemen, Denmark, Norway and Bulgaria to name but a few. With a vast range of services catering to the most detailed electrical requirement, some of the services include; switchgear retrofit, medium voltage solutions to 33KV, hazardous areas consultation, inspections using rope access techniques, installation and maintenance.
One thing for sure is that without our loyal clients, dedicated team and plenty of hard graft, none of it would have been possible.
