V -TES is realising continued growth following the appointment of two highly skilled Electrical Engineering professionals. The addition of Jez Kitchen, Senior Electrical Engineer and Neil Hay, Electrical HV Cable Jointer could not have come at a better time, as the business is seeing an increased demand for its Electrical Engineering services and in particular 33KV jointing, Fibre Optics, VSDs and Switchgear.
Joining with over 17 years of technical experience, Jez is a highly motivated and safety conscious Electrical professional with technical and engineering skills acquired across a range of roles in various engineering environments. Jez commented “Holding previous experience with heavy industrial plant and process equipment will serve me well for the cross-industry services that V-TES offer. My offshore experience on oil and gas platforms, FPSOs and jack-up drilling rigs in both the North Sea and overseas will ensure that I can enhance the V-TES service offering”.
Also joining the V-TES team in Aberdeen, Neil Hay brings more than 11 years’ experience from the major energy supplier SSE. Neil is a skilled professional with demonstrated capacity to provide installation, repair and testing of electronic systems. During this period, Neil has consistently delivered 33KV projects to a very high standard. Neil comments “Joining V-TES has been an exciting step forward in my career. I have dedicated 11 years to my previous employer and gained a huge amount of skills from the variety of projects I worked on.
