Partnership agreement creates magnetic force

Leading electrical engineering firm V-TES, formerly NSPS, has announced a recent partnership with Engiso, manufacturers of the world’s most powerful magnets. The agreement will see Aberdeen based V-TES exclusively supply, and install, the magnets across the UK in a bid to not only support ongoing operations but to assist the international growth of Denmark based Engiso.

The V-MAG multipurpose Neodyme magnet is the strongest permanent magnets available and has been proven to retain its full magnetic force overtime. Coated with a layer of black EDPM rubber which has outstanding heat, ozone and weather resistance the magnets can be coupled together to achieve additional pull force where solutions have achieved a capacity of 17 tons.

With many of V-TES’ renewable and Oil and Gas clients currently using welding, fixtures, bolting and brackets, Managing Director, David Gray, saw the opportunity to use the magnets as a replacement for securing required articles during the major electrical projects carried out by the firm.

David comments; “The agreement with Engiso is greatly welcomed as it allows us to add a unique offering to the growing range of services and products at V-TES.  We are continually looking at how we can offer different solutions that can be of real benefit to our clients’ projects.

David continues “The magnets will mitigate the requirement of welding and drilling for permanent fixtures, thus reducing any issues created by sparks, particularly when working in a gas environment. The use of these super strength magnets will in many ways speed up our operations and in turn, benefit the clients we support”.

Operating from its headquarters Denmark, Engiso developed the rubber-coated V-MAG 70© & V-MAG 340© magnets with customer benefits in mind. The ultimate focus was to reduce total cost and time of an installation, whilst reducing the need for weld inspections and hot permits which then allows for safer installation methods in explosive & flammable environments.

Allan Frikke Hansen, CEO of Engiso added “The partnership with V-TES is a major step for our firm. The collaboration allows both businesses to pass the combined knowledge and benefits onto clients and in turn offer a unique competitive advantage. Today’s announcement is a testament to our global outlook and commitment to delivering high-quality service on an international level.”

Allan continued; “Our range of magnets provide corrosion and stress-free solutions when applied to structures. The products can be placed on steelwork and easily removed using specialised aluminium tools which has lead to huge cost savings across major projects that we have supported. ”

The magnets are now immediately available for purchase and installation in the UK directly via V-TES.
