In today’s world climate change has heavily influenced many organisations to collectively tackle their Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions in various ways. Our parent company Valor has surpassed an original 2-year target to become carbon neutral by 2022, by rigorously reducing the carbon footprint of the business in its entirety.
At V-TES we are proud to be playing our part in contributing to the collective ‘Carbon Negative’ status that Valor Energy Group have achieved. Reducing our carbon footprint wherever possible is vitally important to V-TES, and we will continue to do what we can to reduce the impact of our global operations.
These various methods we are using to continually reduce our carbon footprint are stated in Valor’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions Annual report 2020, for the period; 1st of January to the 31st of December 2020. Valor Energy Group has removed more carbon from the atmosphere than we produced as a result of our Scope 1, Scope 2 and significant Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions. The information provided within the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Annual Report provides us, and the public with valuable information as well as an insight into how we are progressing in the battle against climate change.
With the current progress that is being made within the Group, there is no doubt that our reduction methods will only improve further from this point onwards. We are extremely proud to be part of this momentous achievement. You can view the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report by clicking this link.
